Last year, Flanagan told Men’s Health, “My dream project of all dream projects will always be Stephen King’s The Dark Tower.”
A few minutes ago we wrapped production on THE FALL OF THE HOUSE OF USHER, closing a huge chapter of my life. I’ve worked in Vancouver almost nonstop since BLY MANOR in 2019. We made 4 series in 3 years, only taking a short break for the COVID lockdown in early 2020.

He has now acquired the television rights to both The Dark Tower and King’s The Life of Chuck. Tom Hiddleston and Mark Hamill from House of Usher are poised to reunite for Chuck, which is expected to air in 2024. This chapter in the Usher family’s history may be ended, but another one always awaits.
