According to the reports, some 20 youths were detained and two weapons were found when a gang of juveniles broke into stores in the US state of Philadelphia on Tuesday. The Philadelphia Police Department initiated an investigation amid accusations of widespread looting at retailers such as Apple Store, Footlocker, and Lululemon, among others.

By Wednesday morning, law officials had verified the arrest of 15 to 20 persons engaged in the looting, as well as the recovery of at least two guns. According to Fox News, videos published on social sites portray images of major outlets such as Lululemon, the Apple Store, and Footlocker being invaded by hundreds of masked looters.

Senior Philadelphia police officer John Stanford, on the other hand, stated that Irizarry’s supporters had nothing to do with the violence on Tuesday night.
